The recently launched sports transparency index has two tiers of clubs and one league. The listed transparency is the latest in a series of benchmarking tools that evaluate the Euroleague in the ecosystem. The clubs included in the listed transparency are AC Milan and Juventus, as well as Germany’s Bundesliga leagues.

These three institutions received 14 ranking points and were able to share the top positions in the sports. Meanwhile, Real Madrid is in 10th place with 13 points. Out of a total of 646 sports, 255 football clubs were included in the sports body, with the French and Greek teams ranked 10th.

The last-placed football body is the French club guingamp, which is listed in the ranking points. The sports group Siga is led by European sports stakeholders. The index was co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus programme.

The index was developed using a set of 15 global transparency indicators, in consultation with researchers and stakeholders, and all data used to assess the index was obtained from official websites.

No English sports or clubs were included in the ranking, as the UK is outside the European Union and the project was funded by an EU Erasmus grant. As such, the transparency index is of great interest to football fans.
